Meeting minutes

Game accessibility.

jasonjgw: We have suggestions for improvements to the GAP analysis.

janina: we can't write a document that is aimed at regulators. That needs to be restructured throughout the document.

janina: This needs to be rewritten aimed at informing developers around the needs of users.

janina: We need to reframe it to focus just on the intrinsic inaccessibility of gaming.

Janina: Woulds should be changed to wills on the assumption that this work can take place.

janina: We want some form of abstract at the top so readers who are time poor can understand the gist of the documenbt even if they don't have the time to examine all of the arguments.

Accessibility of Machine Learning and Generative AI draft.

janina: still working on this.

janina: there are some technical issues holding me back and I'm currently on the road which is also an impediment.

Miscellaneous topics.

jasonjgw: I've been reading a bit about the "alignment problem" which feels like it needs to be part of the AI work.

janina: An example of that is where you fine tune it to something that interests you and it becomes less able to work in other areas.

jasonjgw: Yes also where it finds shortcuts to solving a problem that don't provide a solution you can use.

JPaton: that sounds like overfitting and a problem where it doesn't share the assumptions of the user.
