This mini-workshop will explore the positive and negative impacts of Generative AI on society and its intersection with W3C's Ethical Web Principles and Vision. TPAC attendees are encouraged to submit proposals for discussion topics such as sustainability, the open web, discoverability, inclusion, bias, neighbourhoods, accessibility, epistemic injustice, UI, translations, threat modelling, and co-browsing experiences.

To indicate interest in presenting about the positive or negative impact of GenAI on society:

*Open an issue with the "AIandSociety" label or
*submit a document to https://github.com/w3c/tpac2026-miniworkshops/blob/main/AIandSociety
